Lovely Sam and Keith got married at the start of April in one of Essex’s newest wedding venues – Houchins (definitely check it out if you are looking for a venue, its a corker!).
Sam is an interior designer so had a really clear vision for her day from the very start and it certainly lived up to expectations with Sam and Keith filling the day with quirky details and personal touches that captured both their personalities perfectly. We loved the music box favours!
The mood for the day was Vivienne Westwood meets Tim Burton – theatrical, dramatic and striking. Sam had her heart set on hydrangeas in shades of blue and purple to tie in with the colour scheme for the day.
The brief for the flowers was clean and simple (so nothing too rustic or delicate) but something that would make a statement and they needed to be mainly hydrangeas.
We decided therefore to keep to just hydrangeas to create stand-out bouquets that worked with the dresses. The buttonholes were succulents – something the couple both really wanted – which also featured in their table arrangements.
Thank you to Sam and Keith for sending us some pictures from their gorgeous wedding day. The photos are by Chelmsford based photographer Jayne Heather: http://www.jayneheather.com/
