Something Blue

If you have your somethings Old, New and Borrowed wrapped up but need some inspiration for the Blue, take a look at our lovely delphinium and rose bouquets.
Some just picked prettiness for your special day:

Moped Invitations

We love tailoring our designs to make our stationery unique, and this is a perfect example. Rebecca and Laurence wanted mopeds to feature on their stationery, and I think it’s worked a treat! I’m so looking forward to helping them with their table decorations too… so watch this space!

Bird Cage Wedding Invite

We’re very excited as the wedding season is starting to get underway in earnest now. We’ve been busy polishing our crockery and have been setting up in some lovely venues. Today I wanted to show you our lovely bird cage invite. We are also creating some table decorations to go with these so hopefully I can put up some pictures of Alan and Angelene’s beautiful wedding in the not too distant future!

Statement flowers on a smaller budget

Your wedding day will be one of the best days of your life, but can also be one of the most expensive. You can still have beautiful rustic arrangements which complement your theme perfectly but without costing the earth…

How?  By making the most of foliage.

For this arrangement we chose a small selection of roses in soft pink and cream and maroon carnations but filled it with a selection of freshly picked greenery and berries.

It was bursting with different textures and greens for a natural country garden look. Keeping the flowers to a minimum but filling it with foliage was kinder on the purse but still a treat for the eye:

Wedding excitement

The sun is out at long last and the evenings are (ever so slightly) lighter which means wedding season will soon be upon us and here at A Vintage Wedding we can’t wait. This week has been all about the button holes as we created a box full for a friend’s wedding. Roses and waxflower look beautiful together for that ‘just picked’ country garden look:

Bold colours vintage bouquet

A vintage wedding theme doesn’t necessarily mean just pastels; if you’ve got a taste for bold colours then go for bold with gorgeous hot pink roses and bright yellow chrysanthemums! Coupled with a hessian tie and balanced with peach carnations, you can still create vintage charm but with a bright, contemporary colour twist!
