Carly and Alex, what can we say – this wedding was a corker and such a pleasure to work on (and attend!). The venue was East Quays Lobster Shack in Whitstable (beautiful venue full of character). The colour scheme for the ceremony room upstairs was all white flowers but with lots of green foliage. Cue meters of lush green garlands draped from the beams and banisters and white hydrangeas everywhere.

The colour scheme for everything else was coral. This was a perfect way to distinguish the ceremony room from the rest of the venue and meant we had double the flowers to play with.

The long dinner tables in the downstairs part of the venue were filled with vases of vibrant coral peonies, peach roses and orange sweet peas; hung above the dance floor were three greenery chandeliers with orange roses. Everywhere you looked there were gorgeous bright flowers which really complimented the dark wood and exposed brick of the venue.

Carly and Alex had sourced lots of succulents which we used in the bouquets and buttonholes but they also lined the tables and window ledges. Above each table were garlands of ribbons and fairy lights which made the room a riot of colour interspersed with cool festoons.

All in all this was an almighty celebration where every detail was thought of and the unique style and personalities of Carly and Alex shone through.
