Miriam was a delight of a bride (I didn’t get to meet Jon) and this wedding was a total joy to work on from start to finish. The ceremony took place in a quirky little chapel in the picturesque Essex village of Rowhedge with the reception in the brides family home. It was everything I love in a wedding – colourful, relaxed and full of personality!

Miriam wanted the bouquets naturally arranged with blue and yellow flowers and pretty trailing ribbons. Her favourite flower was a yellow rose so all the bouquets and her flower crown featured the stunning ‘Toulouse Lautrec’ rose. Over the entrance to the church we designed a gorgeous wild garland, brimming with greenery which was a lovely backdrop for photos.

Talking of photos – Images are by Matt Gutteridge and we thank Miriam and Jon for sharing them with us. Matt and his super work can be found here: mattgutteridge.co.uk
